Spring warm weather is starting to set in and the mood drifts towards a delicate meat, something not too heavy to consume and enjoy. What is better than grilled fish for a beautiful sunny day like this one, accompanied by a light pasta salad that would make a perfect meal, healthy and full of taste.
You need :
Sea Bass Fish (At The Local Fish Market سمك قاروس)
Salt & Pepper To Season
Get your BBQ fire going, ask your local fish market man to open the fish wide for you so it resembles a butterfly. Mix your summac, dried oregano, olive oil and lemon juice in a bowl and start brushing your fish and flipping it on the grill till it looks well done to you (the flavors infused in with the charcoal would be just too good). Sea bass tends to cook fairly quick so keep checking it and brushing it with your tasty mix.
For the salad you need:
– Pasta Fusilli (Cooked & Drained)(You can use the coloured one for a more appealing look)
– 1 Can Of Red Beans
– Cherry Tomatoes Halved
– Bunch Of Fresh Basil Leaves (Optional)
– 1 Can Of Sweet Corn
– 1 Yellow Bell Pepper (Chopped Medium)
– 1 Green Bell Pepper (Chopped Medium)
– Fresh Mushrooms (Brushed Clean and Chopped)
– 1 Tbsp Oregano
– Olive Oil
– Lemon Juice
Make sure your pasta is “al dente” (which means it’s quite firm), drain your beans and sweet corn, add your cherry tomatoes, tear your basil and throw it in. Add your peppers, mushrooms to the mix (you can add hot pepper if you like) and toss the salad with the oregano, olive oil, lemon juice and salt.
These combined make a fresh meal that would be suitable at all times (dinner be it or lunch). I love the oriental taste you come out with and the way it make you full without feeling guilty. The nutrients in this meal are just amazing and add to that it is just mouthwatering and has the “nibble while you cook” effect on anyone.
